2017 Bible Reading Plans
Our Bible reading plans for 2017 are the M’Cheyne One-Year Bible Reading Plan and the ESV Outreach Forty-Day Getting Started Plan.
M’Cheyne One-Year Bible Reading Plan
This plan is based on the M’Cheyne reading system, featuring four different readings for use in both family and personal devotions. Each day has two passages from the Old Testament, one from the New Testament, and one from either the Psalms or the Gospels. In one year, you read the Old Testament once and the New Testament and Psalms twice.
Outreach Forty-Day Getting Started Plan
If you’re new to the Bible and are looking for suggestions on where to start, the forty-day reading plan will help you gain an overall understanding of what the Bible is all about. It will introduce you to some the most important passages of the Bible and it will help you see the big picture of what God has done, and it’s easy to accomplish.
Pick up a free copy of the reading plans at one of our two campuses or download a PDF of M’Cheyne Reading Plan and the 40-Day Reading Plan. You can also access the reading plans on our Hickory Grove app.
We challenge our church to memorize scripture each week through Fighter Verses. Fighter Verses is a Bible verse memory program that is designed to encourage believers to fight the fight of faith through memorizing God’s Word. Learn more at FighterVerses.com. Memorize this week’s verses or download the app by clicking the buttons below.
Equip Cards are useful guides designed to inform and equip you with a deeper knowledge of the Christian faith. Each card is written for both adults and children so it is informative for all ages. Parents, we encourage you to use these cards as a teaching tool for your children. Download a PDF of each card below or pick them up in the foyer on Sundays.
